DJ Sheep was born in Australia. At the age of 13 he got engrossed in hip-hop culture and was instantly captivated by scratching in the choruses of hip-hop songs at the time. He purchased his first record and went "looking for the perfect beat," learning about hip-hop, old school, electro, disco, jazz, funk and soul music.
